Sitting around the log fire, the old village shaman recounts the legend of the Divine tree. He explains that the Divine tree can be found after four days of non-stop walking in the unbelievable heat of the Arabian desert, guided only by the power of the Divine Spirit. He says that by drinking the essence that flows from its sap we will quench our thirst, and by eating its roots we will harden our battered bodies. He also says that after nights of hallucinations and wandering, the virtue and purity of the tree will chill our blood to clothe us in gold and raise our spirits to divinity.
